Portland's Northwest Shingle Recyclers grind oil from shingles for reuse as asphalt for roads

At the newly opened Northwest Shingle Recyclers, 6110 S.E. 111th Ave., it can actually be cheaper to recycle the shingles than to send them to a landfill.
